PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NO LONGER TAKING ANY BIRDS AT THIS TIME, SO PLEASE DO NOT INQUIRE.

Surrendering a bird or birds can be a hard decision to make. Sometimes family members can develop an allergy to birds, sometimes a new baby changes priorities, perhaps your moving and you can't take your bird with you. Whatever the reason may be, we can help in most cases.

When you surrender a bird to a bird rescue, you are donating it, with all of its cages, toys, food and any vet records. You cannot get the bird back, even through re-adoption. Sometimes, along with all the birds artifacts, rescues may require a financial donation as well; to cover care while at the rescue, while we try and find a new home.

We also take birds through other agencies such as other rescues or State/County agencies that cease birds from pet stores, bird hoarders or cruelty cases.

Please note, we are only able to take birds depending on the space available at the rescue or our availability of foster homes.
